Thanks so much – the pups somehow found their way home last night on their own at 1:30am
All is good.
Two lab pups went missing Monday night after they ran off Good Harbor Beach towards the Inn.Ā They are regulars of the beach but not the neighborhood. One is Black (F-Stella, 1yr) and the other is Choc (M-Chester, 8mo). They have tags and reflective collars.
Many thanks for all your assistance.

Last Sunday while driving around the Back Shore I decided to stop at the Elks club Parking lot andĀ Sketch the scene before me on a Rock. Yeah, I know I’m Nuts.
I left it across the street from the Elks Club in the rocks where the Hotel has a sitting area.
I didn’t know my Son was going to bringĀ his friends to the Elks Club to reserve it for their Wedding next year. I posted the Rock I sketched on here on GMG about 11am. I got a phoneĀ call at 2:30pmĀ from my son Paul the III telling me they found it. They thought my Son set it up, but he had no idea what I did that morning and I had no idea what he was going to do that day. (Strange ain’t it?)Ā after they reserved the Elks club they walked down the road to where I left the “Art Rock”
Here is the email my son sent me;
Hey Dad, Heres the Picture of them holding the rock. They found it when they walked across from the elks to see where their wedding pictures will be taken. We were all standing around it and tom said “that rock has your name on it” Everyone thought my son Paul set it up. But he did’nt know anything about it. Now that’s a Coincidence! Tom and Joselin areĀ getting married at Good Harbor Beach on labor day 2011Ā and having the reception at the elks.
Here’s a photo of Tom and his Fiance holding the ROCK. Good Luck Guys!! I hope you enjoy the Rock!

Greetings from the two residents of Worcester who consider Gloucester our home away from home. Wista and Glosta share some defining, essential characteristics. Both are hard working communities, populated with real people who are proud of their heritages and willing to struggle for their futures.
It was very nice meeting you yesterday. The three lobsters were delicious and the GMG sticker was a fitting dessert.
As promised, here are some names to go with the pic you snapped of us yesterday while we were literally āholding the bagā: Rich & Hollis Laprade
For what itās worth, attached are some pictures we took at Good Harbor this morning at sunrise. The light was changing by the second, so the atmosphere was unbelievably dynamic. Couple that with an astronomically low tide and the place was magic this morning.

I’ve been taking a break from posting recently because I was on my Gloucester vacation and totally took advantage of it by disconnecting myself from the world. It was wonderful!
Here are some surf pics. I still need a lot of practice but getting the hang of it. Look how beautiful that water is!
