“Heading Out”
My View of Life on the Dock
Will you look at this guy? Seems like a nice enough bloke right? Meet him on the street in plainclothes, love to tip one back with him.
But then you put him in the lederhosen, tights, bib, funny hat, I mean what the frick is going on over there?
It’s gotta be the Octoberfest beer, right? Just get flat out shithoused, that’s the only explanation for making a conscious decision to dress up and sing like this.
Let’s strap on the tights, get crushed and yodel. That’s what I always say.
12 hours of yodeling or 12 hours of elevator muzak- gotta pick one, which one ya got?
They’re doing a great job at Cape Ann Lanes. We had a blast. Pizza, bowling, arcade games. Fun City!
Used the UDine4Less coupon, saved a bunch of money and the girls loved it.
I know Kings is the trendy spot right now but I’ve yet to be able to get in there without a 2 hour wait. We have a great bowling experience right here in Gloucester.
Check out UDne4Less for the coupon too-

Hi Joey. While enjoying a beautiful morning at Good Harbor Beach, I came across a cool & groovy neighbor making the beach a better place. How can the beach be better you might ask? Well when it is not covered in poop it is a lovelier place for all. Jim Dowd arrived today with his son, dog, shovel & bucket.
Thank you Jim!!

See you soon!

Whenever their is a special occasion in the family, we all call cousin Lynanne to create a special masterpiece for the celebration. She has an incredible talented, unlike anyone I know, and is truly an artist in the kitchen. Parmesan Potatoes~ One of my son BJ’s most favorite side dishes! He would happily eat these potatoes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. BJ requested them last night as a side dish for he and his friend Williams’ Fried Muddica Chicken, Zucchini fries, and Parmesan potato dinner.
Dinner…Before 2 teenage boys stuck a fork in it….

I think it’s safe to say they enjoyed their dinner! For Step-by-Step recipe details click see more Continue reading “Parmesan Potatoes”
This morning 10AM the official start of spring in New England! Type in 415 Summer St, Boston into your GPS and get over to the BCEC right now! Go smell the fresh fiberglass of powerboats, sailboats, shiny stainless steel accessories and marine electronics. You know you need a new anchor, new LED lights, new fishing lure, new depth gauge, new side scan sonar, new boat gizmo of some kind!.
New England Boat Show website. Cape Ann is represented at the boat show. Rubber Duck has a quick tip. Go straight there and buy tickets at the door. The one thing you want to bring is a floor map (click here). Before you go just find all the booths you do not want to miss and circle them. It’s a big show so you might miss something.
Rubber Duck has circled: Brown’s Yacht Yard booths 1850 & 1852, Cape Ann Marina booths 221 & 223, J & L Welding & Machine booth 150. One more link: Jeff Amero of J & L saves his best photos for his Facebook page here where he posts works of art in aluminum.
Rubber Duck will be going Monday from 1 to 4 PM. Patrick Star will be there next Saturday March 1 from noon to 3PM. Bring your camera!
Saturdays, February 22 & March 1, 10am–8pm

Which One Do You Use?
I use tweetcaster on my mobile devices and tweetdeck on my desktop computer. For some reason the official twitter apps hide the great “Retweet with comment” option I find so useful. For sharing stuff from the blog it lets me edit the tweet to include shoutouts to the people mentioned I the post.
My guess is that the unofficial Twitter clients provide so much more functionality that if the official twitter app offered those options it would probably tax the Twitter servers so much that it would bring down the system.
Anyway that’s my skeptical guess.

There’s an unfinished conference room in the back of our office where no one ever goes. Table tops lie on their sides with no legs. Deconstructed cubicles stand against the walls, shelves and desktops assorted like giant puzzle pieces. A dry erase marker lies on the ground, never used.
It’s there in the dark that I write.
