A Silly Post
Photos sent in by Tony Sapienza, forwarded to me by Joey from St Lucia. Click on photos to enlarge.

Tony writes:
Enjoying all the Cape Ann “plunge” photos — didn’t realize there were so many of this happening that day. Figured our four were the only crazies out there. Saw the video on your latest update — we should have ours up on YouTube (from one of our friends) sometime soon.
Thought you could use this photo — our own version of the “polar bears”.
One of the Blue Shutters innkeepers, Patty Sapienza (that’s her in the black t-shirt and balloon hat), joined three friends for an annual New Year’s Day swim. They’ve named themselves “The Blue Shutters Dips” — and they’re attracting a growing group of followers. There were plenty of them on Good Harbor Beach — at 11am today (1/1/11) — to witness their plunge.
There are other photos on our website blog/diary and on the Blue Shutters Facebook page.
Hope you had a great holiday — Happy New Year

Private Chris Muise and his friends enjoy breakfast at George’s and also wish Gloucester a Happy New Year. Chris is our own Sharon Lowe’s grandson. Be sure to check yesterday’s blog for Chris’ address.
Some patrons at George’s from Beverly gave their Thanks to Chris during his farewell breakfast. We all thank you for your service to this country.
