This Thursday at the Rhumbline I’m proud to present the one  and only Chris “Stovall” Brown. Born of Titans, raised by wolves and lowered by hydraulics, Mr. CB is up there on the top of the blues world, having toured with the likes of James Cotton or is Jerry Portnoy?  Who can remember? He sings, he plays killer guitarrh, he’s a blast! I love working with him! Gush, gush gush. Now add the cracklings of that sartorially-challenged eggbeater, Mr. Steevee Chaggaris, and myself, and see what our special musically enhanced interrogation techniques can do for you!

And Saturday nite, I’ll be at Captain Carlo’s flailing away with the HooDoo Revelator Band, playing all your top  forty or fifty favorite blues tunes at extremely high volume. I’m gonna wear earplugs, you should, too. But seriously, it’ll be fun to dance to.
Now Sunday,from 6 to 9, for something completely different, I’ll be at Glenn’s Cool Bar in Nbpt. with the marvelous vocallist Ms. Mari Martin. It’s Mother’s Day! Come celebrate. I get tired of repeating myself, but there’s a whole other world over that bridge, and you oughta czech it out. It’s an awesome  restaurant, just ran into Glenn hisself at Nordstrom Rack, looking for size 14’s.

Party time @ Minglewood@Lat tonight…Starting at 6:00pm ending 12:00 mid…Now that’s a party!

GARFISH Gig Canceled!!!

Just received word that tonight’s Garfish performance at Espresso’s is cancelled due to licensing issues at the establishment. Unfortunately it is beyond our control and are forced to cancel this gig. The band was so looking forward to playing tonight. We had been rehearsing real hard and had a bunch of new songs we were going to debut. Thanks for the support of all our fans that were planning to attend tonight and all the great publicity we received for the Garfish 2013 debut. Stay tuned for upcoming events. Garfish will be performing classic rock-n-roll music from the 1960’s & 70’s along with current hits. The band performs their own renditions of classic songs by Bon Jovi, Jethro Tull, Styx, The Doors, Moody Blues, Joe Cocker, Billy Joel, Dropkick Murphys and others which will surely get the crowd to its feet.
The band consists of Jeff Worthley on piano, saxaphone, guitar and vocals along with fellow musicians: Kevin Lopes on lead vocals, Doug Comeau on guitar and vocals, Gary “Gar” Hiltz on bass and vocals and Walter Piscitello on drums and vocals.

Let’s welcome back that jet-propelled guru on the hautboy of honk: Mr. Gordie “Sax” Beadle. Just back from a series of successful shows at the North Shore Mall Third Annual Shoplifting Festival, he’s sure to put a smile on your face and a couple blisters on your feet!  We’re gonna wiggle our way thru the entire jukebox of R&B without dropping a stitch of laughter. But, seriously, folks, if you haven’t seen Gordie yet due to a coma or something, you owe it to yourself to make the extra effort. This guy is an amazing Saxophonist\ singer and frontman. This will cure whatever ails you, and then some.
  Backing him up will be a new guitarist , Mr. Mike DiBari, who i’ve worked with and enjoyed immensely. He knows all the chords. Cheer him on! Mr. Jeff Casper, the friendly drummer will be beatin’ the skins, and I’ll be on base. 
  Do not drive a car or operate heavy machinery until you know how Gorditol® affects you. Women who may become pregnant WILL become pregnant after hearing this guy! So stay away!

famous 1970s “No Nukes” campaign.  Former U.S. Congressman and State Representative,
D-19, NY.  Current touring member of Orleans.
 
This week: A piece of American pop culture history… the legendary JOHN HALL!  As many
of you know, John has rejoined Orleans since the passing of Larry Hoppen last July.  Leading
into our 2013 summer tour, we have a number of isolated dates coming up around the country
– one of which happens to be a private performance in Watertown, MA on May 2.  John asked
if he could come in a day early so the two of us could do some songwriting.  I said yes – and
would you like to be my musical guest at the Rhumb Line?  So, here we are.  Please do not miss
this unexpected event.  Who knows if it’ll ever again ? ?  ~ Fly

It’s been almost a year since Brad last performed in Manchester by the Sea, but this Saturday at 9pm, he returns to The Landing at 7 Central.

Performing originals and covers from 9pm to midnight, guests are guaranteed a great night of live music when Brad Byrd performs.
