Brad Byrd dbExcited to be playing again @ Giuseppe’s Ristorante, Gloucester, Ma tonight from 8:25-45pm, some amazing singer/songwriters on the bill tonight including ex Velvet Underground member Willie Loco Alexander, and local superstar Chelsea Berry among others… speaking of Chelsea, she’s also our featured artist tonight at 10pm at the Dogbar Capeann. It’s gonna be a BIG night in Gloucester….come early for the DJDK dinner set.

Let’s welcome back Mr. Evan Goodreau! One of the best crowd pleasers  I know, Big E has just returned from the Bronx where he came in first place in the Annual Homie car-stripping contest, making mincemeat out of a brand new BMW in seconds flat. Be careful: he can do it to your brain, too. Evan never fails to get the pot boiling quickly, so come early.
Also, on the skins will be our very own redcoat, Mr. David Mattacks, who needs no introduction, unless you’ve been in a coma.
Thank all of you for your pained inquiries into missing emails: I had some kind of gastro-informational problem which has since cleared up with the regular  applications  of Damnitol®, the speedy world wide cobweb fixer upper. Should all be good, now.
Still on winter hours 8 to 11. Thank you for your continuing support! We would be nothing without you! And watch out for that miserable summer cold/flu thing going around. I got it and couldn’t even drink for a couple of days!

Born of Titans, raised by wolves and lowered by hydraulics, Mr. CB is up there on the top of the blues world, having toured with the likes of James Cotton or is Jerry Portnoy?  Who can remember? He sings, he plays killer guitarrh, he’s a blast! I love working with him! Gush, gush gush. Now add the cracklings of that sartorially-challenged eggbeater, Mr. Steevee Chaggaris, and myself, and see what our special musically enhanced interrogation techniques can do for you!

And Saturday nite, I’ll be at Captain Carlo’s flailing away with the HooDoo Revelator Band, playing all your top  forty or fifty favorite blues tunes at extremely high volume. I’m gonna wear earplugs, you should, too. But seriously, it’ll be fun to dance to.
Now Sunday,from 6 to 9, for something completely different, I’ll be at Glenn’s Cool Bar in Nbpt. with the marvelous vocallist Ms. Mari Martin. It’s Mother’s Day! Come celebrate. I get tired of repeating myself, but there’s a whole other world over that bridge, and you oughta czech it out. It’s an awesome  restaurant, just ran into Glenn hisself at Nordstrom Rack, looking for size 14’s.

Party time @ Minglewood@Lat tonight…Starting at 6:00pm ending 12:00 mid…Now that’s a party!

GARFISH Gig Canceled!!!

Just received word that tonight’s Garfish performance at Espresso’s is cancelled due to licensing issues at the establishment. Unfortunately it is beyond our control and are forced to cancel this gig. The band was so looking forward to playing tonight. We had been rehearsing real hard and had a bunch of new songs we were going to debut. Thanks for the support of all our fans that were planning to attend tonight and all the great publicity we received for the Garfish 2013 debut. Stay tuned for upcoming events. Garfish will be performing classic rock-n-roll music from the 1960’s & 70’s along with current hits. The band performs their own renditions of classic songs by Bon Jovi, Jethro Tull, Styx, The Doors, Moody Blues, Joe Cocker, Billy Joel, Dropkick Murphys and others which will surely get the crowd to its feet.
The band consists of Jeff Worthley on piano, saxaphone, guitar and vocals along with fellow musicians: Kevin Lopes on lead vocals, Doug Comeau on guitar and vocals, Gary “Gar” Hiltz on bass and vocals and Walter Piscitello on drums and vocals.

The Cripple Cove Quintet featuring The Goddesses will be performing three sets of pre-Beatles and Pub Rock at The Rhumb Line on Friday, May 3rd starting at9:30pm.   The CCQ consists of husband and wife harmonizing duo Tony and Samantha Goddess plus Pete Koeplin on drums, Ryan Alto on bass, and Geoff Small on guitar.  No Cover/21+.
