Dory rowing season is here.

We’ve made great progress the last couple weeks in prepping our race dories for the season.  Thank you to those who donated some time to help!!  We have a little more work to do before the launch, so if you can spare a couple hours this Saturday, May 6th, between 9am – 12 noon, meet us at 28 Gee Ave in Gloucester to roll the dories and finish the painting of the insides.  The weather looks great for painting and with a little help, we can finish them up and be ready to launch on May 13th.

For those of you who can not make it down to help, and plan to row as the weather improves or would just like to support our organization that brings so much tradition to Gloucester, please go to https://internationaldories.com/ and pay you dues.  There will be more opportunities to donate time as we have many events planned with dory elimination races June 10th, welcoming our friends from the CDRA and Schooner Bluenose July 6th – 9th, our 2nd eliminations & annual trip to Nova Scotia in August, and much more (also posted on our website schedule of events).  Get out and row, enjoy the racing, and broaden your experience with the IDRC in 2023.

I’m sure we will need a trailer or two for launch day.  If you can help out on May 13th, please respond.
