Nice long weekend with several big soccer wins, a great performance by
at Masco, but the biggest event this weekend was this guy’s birthday. Happy Birthday Flip!! Thank you for all you do!!
Congratulations to the organizers of Magtoberfest. I didn’t have a chance to go there last year so was happy to be able to spend an hour or so there this weekend. What a fun event for all….definitely put it on your radar for next year if you are able. I was sad to miss much of the great music that was scheduled, but had a nice time shopping, grabbing a bite to eat, and enjoying one quick pear mimosa from the Boston Bubble Bar. There were lots of happy children and grown-ups alike….not to mention so many dogs enjoying the day with their families. Then there were the snakes….. Thanks to everyone!
Jim wanted some fish stew for his birthday lunch, so we went off to the Blue Marlin Grille on Eastern Ave in Essex at midday yesterday. And it was hopping for noontime on a Monday, obviously a popular lunchtime choice. So Jim got his fish stew and a pastrami sandwich. I tried a grilled cheese with sliced meatballs. The grilled cheese just sounded so intriguing that I had to give it a try. It comes with a side of marinara, which enhanced the sandwich by quite a bit. All in all, a great experience: neighborhood grill atmosphere with comfort food offerings.
Week 1 is the books!
Together the club is looking better, feeling better, and the MAC MAGIC is coming back.
It has been so great this week to feel the energy, to listen to members positive comments and to feel the community.
