We saw these beautiful swans last week in Medford. One appeared to be trying to camouflage by stepping into the snow to hide. The younger swans were feasting on berries from the shoreline bushes. I hadn’t seen them eat anything except seaweed before. They were just going about their business as if the eagle wasn’t right on the other side of the dam showing off his ice fishing skills for us. It’s a great spot for bird watchers.
