My daughter, Natalia, started a mask business. She first started with her “five freedoms” mask – one that she based on a drawing she made for my office a while back. That sold like crazy and so she decided to do a Sicilian flag one.
While both are available by mail order, they are also available retail in Gloucester.
The Five Freedoms masks are at Pop Gallery. The Sicilian flag ones are at Caffe Sicilia.
Another beautiful late afternoon at the beach. We are so blessed.

This sun-bleached crab and its intricate exoskeleton are oddly beautiful. Thank you to Paul Horovitz for sharing this photo from a walk through the Annisquam with us.
It was way too hot to cook, so off we went to Turner’s Seafood on Smith Street for the prepared fish and chips we kept hearing about. Available from noon to 7 pm (call ahead to make sure it’s available that day) and made fresh upon ordering, it really hit the spot! Delicious fresh fish, lightly battered was perfect for us. Check them out at http://www.turners-seafood.com for updated information.
