My View of Life on the Dock
On Sunday, Fiesta was special. The mass that takes place at St. Peter’s Park is always inspirational. The smell of the food, the sounds of the rides and happy people make for an enjoyable day. The Greasy Pole and Seine boats were a challenge with the fog coming in. Congratulations to Derek Hopkin for his win on Sunday. The Seine boats were postponed until Monday at 5:00. Thank you, the Fiesta Committee, for another successful event. Looking forward to the 100th next year.
There is never a bad time walking Good Harbor Beach.
This weather can cause whip lash with sun, rain, clouds, fog and rain. Sometimes in the same day.
Even with the fog and drizzle, St. Peter’s Fiesta was fun. Congratulations to Saturday Greasy Pole winner Max Allen. Congratulation to the Nina in the Seine Boat Race, in the fog.
Crazy as it sounds, I like the fog. The air is always briny, and the fog feels good on my skin. Magnolia Pier looks mysterious in the fog,
The fog on Friday morning was impressive. When it is this foggy, notice the briny smell is wonderful. Grateful to live here.
Saw this pretty egret in the marsh on Wednesday. Happy to see them back. Another sign of spring.

On Saturday the skies were both foggy and clear. Beautiful skies over Gloucester Harbor
There is the something wonderful about the fog.
All week the fog has enveloped the whole area.

When walking on Monday around 4:30 the sun came out, by the time I got to Ocean Lawn on Coolidge Point the fog was surrounding Ocean Lawn and the ocean.
