It’s more than a wrapping party. It’s when the loving heart of Cape Ann comes together in the true spirit of the season.
It begins when agencies throughout Cape Ann ‘nominate’ a special family going through some difficult circumstances during the holidays.
The families are then contacted by one of Cape Ann’s Christmas Angels and asked about their children, and a special “Wish List”for each child.
The ‘angels’ then work with area businesses who ‘adopt’ a family and fulfill the “wish List”.
To be sure that Santa gets the help he needs when it comes to delivery, parents will go to the Bass Rocks Elks in Gloucester on Thursday night, December 12 from 6 pm to 9 pm.
There they will meet the donor that adopted their family, enjoy a deliciously cooked buffet, and help the donors and community volunteers wrap the items on their childrens’ Wish List.
