Put it in a trash bag with hot water and a cup of dishwasher powder. Leave it for an hour or two and it will come right off leaving it as shiny as the day you bought it. (I put the bag in the bathtub in case it leaks).

Try spray on oven cleaner.

I like the bag idea. But I use a scrub brush on a flat surface. If there is room to soak it before hand, I do that. Good food and good cooking takes time!

I turn them upside down and let them soak in soapy water in the cooking sheet/pan before I run them through the dishwasher.
