October 25, 2018 – Peabody, MA – Grateful Friends, a 501(c)(3) non-profit
focused on supporting cancer patients through all phases of their cancer
treatment and journey, is pleased to announce its Spirits & Spirits Costume Ball
to be held in Beverly, MA at the Moraine Farm on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at
6:00pm.
Tickets are now available for this Halloween-themed event! Vampire-teers will
lead you toward the silent auction filled with items to include a private beach
getaway at Splash Landing in Gloucester, restful nights of splendor at a 3800
square foot home in Utah 5-10 minutes from the ski resorts of Park City and Deer
Valley, Celtics tickets, tantalizing gift baskets, original artwork, live lobsters, and
so much more! They will slowly draw you into a raffle (don’t worry, not your
blood). Come dressed in a costume or as your spooky self and you could win a
prize! There will be plenty of horror d’oeuvres to fill your belly and witchy brew
drinks to quench your thirst. Best of all – do the Monster Mash with all eve
dancing and music!
Grateful Friends, an organization founded by two friends who are cancer
survivor/thrivers, understands that while everyone’s cancer journey is different,
the fears and challenges are similar. “We want to be able to bring some
unexpected joy to other adults going through cancer, whether it’s through our
Comfort Baskets filled with goodies aimed at alleviating some of the difficulties of
treatment, or giving them peace of mind by paying an overdue bill created by
them having to take time off from work, or maybe it’s dinner and a show giving
them a temporary break from the Big C.”
Tickets are available for purchase today on their website –
http://www.gratefulfriends.com on the About Us page. You can also purchase tickets
on Eventbrite, from our Facebook page or by emailing info@gratefulfriends.com
