I met this wonderful couple from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania at Good harbor Beach, they told me that they have been vacation here in Gloucester for years, and reside here most of the summer. They also indicated that they have a personalized “GLOSTA” licensee plate. (see images below)
We wondered how many other states in the USA have issued a “GLOSTA” plate. The answer is ten states have issued “GLOSTA” plates, see the images below:
Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Nevada, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania
Good Morning Gloucester 
We used to have the Ohio “GLOSTA” plate, but now we live in Gloucester full time – with a “vanilla” MA plate.

Wow talk about smiles and reach that is quite a line up! I know for a fact there are a lot more states that have residents from Mass in them. Another item I notice from here when where the my Red Sox or Mass items folks always ask if I am from Mass and where! Tell them and many times it’s surrounding states they are from or born there too! 🙂 Dave & Kim Great research here on the plates thanks for sharing Manuel!!
