Boston Globe has done a lot of articles around mass and they get it – well done! Thanks for sharing Catherine lot’s of great articles! .
We had our local wisdom keeper too “Barbara Erkkila”,. What a tradition up off high street past community center. She worked with the Gloucester Daily Times when I knew her as her dog would always come down to our house loved us kids she would pick up and bring home like our Beagle (Tiny).
Another Boston Globe article I had in my files too: – Barbara Erkkila, 95, Cape Ann historian, BY Kathleen McKenna GLOBE CORRESPONDENT JANUARY 09, 2014.
