Great photos Donna. People sometimes don’t realize how strong and far storm waves can come ashore. One photo posted showed someone sitting on a rock taking photos. Seemed foolish, knowing how people can get ‘washed off’ rocks. After the Perfect storm I remember seeng lobster traps and buoys in the trees on the path to Rafe’s Chasm.
I stayed in until finally venturing out to the MAC yesterday morning. People had even moved police barricades. With so many flooded streets, I still didn’t venture far from home. The photos of the flooding have been amazing, but keeping safe definitely a priority.

Very true Karen, why would people move the barricades is so dumb on their part. More waves today. Safety first

i grew up on Lexington Ave ..corner of Shore Rd andwatched many a storm. Beautiful, exciting and dangerous. the next day I’d go down on the rocks to see if i could find my favorite “table and chair”. Usually they’d been pushed around by Mother Nature. Thanks for the memories and Magnolia Beach..
