Prescription Patient Assistance Program Research Associate
NeedyMeds, a leading online national resource dedicated to increasing public awareness about using healthcare assistance programs, is looking for people who are interested in making a difference in the lives of those who are seeking help managing healthcare expenses. This is a part-time or full-time position.

The Prescription Patient Assistance Program (PAP) Research Associate position focuses on keeping the PAP database continuously updated; performing research on new FDA-approved drugs; adding and updating PAP and support pages; documenting all tasks performed in the database; and making PAP applications interactive using Adobe Acrobat. The position requires a person who has strong, structured thinking and a desire to perfect details, has basic computer skills, with the ability to manage emails and comfort with making phone calls. The position also requires occasionally adding support for special projects. We offer flexible hours, excellent benefits and advancement opportunities.
Required skills are:
Experience following written procedure manuals
Comfort with working on databases (FileMaker Pro)
Basic, current computer skills (Mac-based office)
Familiarity with Mac OS and Apps including Apple Mail
Accuracy with data entry
Competency with researching on Internet
Able to work independently and as a team player
Experience with time management
Able to prioritize the needs of the department on a moment’s notice
Flexibility in switching tasks
Comfort with sitting at computer for extended periods
Comfort with repetitive tasks
Good communication skills on the phone
Customer service experience a plus
Experience using Adobe Acrobat a plus
Pleasant demeanor
Mature outlook
Reliable and dependable transportation
Starting pay: $13/hr with 1-month and 2-months worked reviews and annual reviews thereafter.
