The downed trees were cleared from the road and driveways although it looks as though it may be a few more days before power is restored and cars are allowed to park at the Lighthouse lot.
The GREAT news is that the four trees that the Monarchs consistently roost in overnight, year after year after year, were spared, and came through with flying colors!

I am sure there will be lessons learned and after action reports that usually follow a storm to learn from or refine (Post actions).. The big picture look of a very robust plan proactive actions taken to identify and mitigate within reason as mother nature is one area outside of human control. Gloucester does have a very robust plan (GLOUCESTER HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN)…
