A terrific video and terrific plan for leaves that fall on your lawn. You can demonstrably see in the video how the leaves begin to break down, improving the soil over time.
Our discussion during the podcast was about leaving leaves in the garden beds. The leaf litter not only creates better soil, but also provides shelter and hiding places for bees, butterfly caterpillars, butterfly chrysalides, and many other beneficial insects.
