    Thanks for the updates this is a very sensitive subject – I still remember all the forced busing issues in late 60’s early 70’s although I never took part in it – This project decided by others did not work…I went to the very old lanes school house now a playground -then Beeman Riverdale when it closed. Had the weights on either side of windows on a rope that went around pulley. Us rascals helped the constructions guys after tore down, sorting wood taking nails out and placing the weights in a pile recycling. Hey was spare change for summer while it lasted look out Fred Sarris penny candy toffee, , Kenny’s, and McPhersons store we bought our candy, comics ,Base ball cards wad of gum, cokes, Hostess Ding Dongs, Twinkies, Wise Owl potato chips, and Learner’s root beer! 🙂 The life of a rascal love it! 🙂 Dave
