That must have been one heck of kiss to lose this? One thing I can say for sure when you are fishing off break wall and seagulls are about you keep the catch below the water line if you skim it across the top just might move in for the take hook and all, a very rude takeoff. Got real them both in to get him/her free – took the hook out let him keep the Cunner too bony when small :-O Dave
