Marshalls Farm Stand has a new member of their Alpaca Family

On Thursday, June 16, 2016, the new member of the Alpaca family was born over at Marshalls Farm in West Gloucester. So cute.

  1. To precious. I love alpacas and llamas. I encountered many when I traveled in Peru. You have to watch them though, because they spit – if they rear their heads back, move away! I remember as a child, one knocked me flat on my ass at Pleasure Island in the feeding/petting area because I had food that he wanted and came racing over to me and didn’t stop in time.

  2. Very cute! 🙂
Like most animals they do have some “defensive mechanisms” but generally those are more of the free roaming ones that are not used to people or being held down during sheering of wool feel threatened when approached in this manner! 🙂 Dave & Kim 🙂
