It’s kind of a sweet story: I was driving to Worcester and noticed how beautiful the sky was (this was prior to sundog’s appearance), crisp and blue with perfect cirrus clouds. Then I got to thinking how lucky I was to have such a gorgeous view for my drive. I started reminiscing about how my yorkie (who passed away this past summer) showed me all sorts of wonderful things in nature I wouldn’t be out to witness without her need for a walk. It was a nice moment, rich in memories.
My gratitude grew as the sundog appeared. I got to see both sides and the top upside-down bit too! For at least an hour, I saw this super-saturated prism and felt very fortunate, especially since I was on my way to Worcester to adopt a westie from Florida, my very own sun dog 🙂 I’m so happy you posted this picture! Thank you!!!
