Pet of the Week- Jolene

jolene1.jpg

Howdy! I’m Jolene and I am SOOOOO happy to meet you! I am a lovely older puppy who has a whole lot of houndy-love to give to my people! I am a southern gal, and based off my gorgeous looks, I’m thinking I am some kind of hound mix. What does that matter anyways? I know my personality will be what really catches your attention!

I still have to learn some basic obedience but I promise I will catch on quick if you promise to help me! I am a big puppy so want to play and still need to learn manners and my own strength so I might be a little much for small children. Do I sound like a perfect for you and your family? Then come down and meet me at Cape Ann Animal Aid’s Christopher Cutler Rich Animal Shelter located at 4 Paws Lane in Gloucester. www.capeannanimalaid.org

Well, Hello Tessie

As it turns out, Wally the Green Monster, our beloved Red Sox Mascot, and son of Wanda and Walter, also has a younger sister….Tessie.

It seems that Tessie has been too young to live away from her parents up north in Boston for the past several years, but she is now older and has decided to make the move to join big brother, Wally.

Meet Tessie HERE!

Just when everybody is feeling all warm and fuzzy about the Snowy Owl…

I may never sleep again.
Aaaand this is why I’m not a wildlife guy. Yes I know this isn’t a snowy owl. But its an owl. Owls doing owl things like choking down rats that are a third of their body size.

If I say it once I’ll say it a thousand times. Y’all can take your camping out and hiking and nature walks out in the wilderness where shit is just trying to eat you and danger lurks around every bunch of pricka bushes. I’ll take a nice comfy room with a view and posh accommodations every damn time.
