I'm Marty Luster, a retired attorney and politician. In 2010 my wife, mother-in-law, dog and I relocated from Central NY to Gloucester. The Argon workers were in a tiny mountain town and their work is fairly typical for both men and women in those areas. They scrape out a living working small farms, creating pieces of art and crafts for the tourists and both tend to the kids, nearly all of whom (of both genders ) attend school.
In the cities, greater gender equality is apparent . Women dress as they please, some traditional, some not, they drive ,attend schools and universities and are increasingly ofound in good paying jobs in business and government.
While there is still some way to go, Morocco leads North Africa in furthering the rights of women.
This is not Saudi Arabia.
