Can you all leave a comment explaining how you listen to the podcast if you do? For example, do you subscribe through iTunes, or listen to it on the Official GMG App, or just play it by clicking on the arrow on the post itself?
I want to try to cater to the people that are listening every week and just any feedback at all would be appreciated.
Thanks, Joey

I responded to the survey, asking how I listened. The survey did not ask when I listened. For me the difficulty is finding an hour to actively listen. Happily, for me, the podcasts are not background music. However getting ready for bed seems to be the best time to listen ~ NOT that the podcasts put me to sleep ~ it is a time when I have 😦 no other distractions ~ you and the crew have my full attention 😉
So ~ it might just be a matter of readers/listeners finding the time. However, be assured, I appreciate the time you take to provide the podcasts and I do enjoy them.

Sure, I listen when I can. I’d say I hear more than half of the podcasts (I’m a little behind right now). It’s a nice way to catch up with what is going on in an informal, fun way.

I typically listen right on GMG. If you’re looking for better Podcast metrics (i know iTunes doesn’t give you jack), you may want to look into Blubrry (https://www.blubrry.com/). Not sure how the pricing works on it, but they let you publish across all the different platforms from one place and see all the metrics in one dashboard.

Hey Chief, I posted the survey on FB about an hour ago and FB Friend and GMG reader Paula Ryan OBrien answered on FB. She writes, “I listen through the post, most of the time. On occasion I will use iTunes – when I want a friend to hear something and I only have my phone. Love the Podcasts!”

I love the Podcasts! I don’t live in Gloucester, or in the state, for that matter. So sometimes, I just long to hear your voices. That distinct accent just makes me so happy! I love the joking around, and how you cover so many topics. My heart is always in Gloucester, the podcasts make me feel like part of the community, even though I don’t live there! Thank you for taking the time to do them.

PS: I answered how I listen on the survey Kim is doing on Facebook. I mostly listen right from this sight. But I have used itunes when there is something I want my friends to hear, and I only have my phone.

I know the lack of metrics on podcasts listeners is driving you nuts, so I replied to the survey too but I’d like to add that (and this may be a mixed blessing) because of the podcast, I’m pretty sure I recognized Felicia’s voice this afternoon at the Studio. Don’t believe I would have recognized her, but I knew the voice!
