We live in America right? Not for nothin…..

Last time I checked we drove on the right side of the road in this country right?

So why is it when I’m driving down a narrow street and the person coming towards me is hugged all the way to their left and then they have to swerve so they don’t hit ME head on?  AND I get a dirty look like I did something wrong?

As Joey C says:

keep

Drive on your side of the road!

  1. I completely agree and am happy that someone has brought this up. My husband and I constantly discuss the fact that so many people drive in the middle of the road……..way over the yellow lines. Its ridiculous. Also, there are many pedestrian crosswalks that could use a once over, thats another danger indeed.

  2. There is at least one road out here (Lanesville) that is only drivable on one side. If you are headed east you drive on the left. It is wise to look ahead though.

    1. Wow sounds like the roads have taken quite a beating? The road through Lanesville were always tight even in the 60’s. I don’t recall there was even a lane line then of course I was too young to drive legally :-O If you left your vehicle on Washington street in the winter time (Plowed in). That’s when there was three stores their Fred Sarris’s, Kenny’s, and McPherson’s, Liquor store across the street from Fred’s store, more vehicles during summer of course for the summer cottages off of lanes cove. :Dave 🙂
