Hi Joey, I have seen the wall come to East Hartford, Ct. They had the USMS Drill team there. I am glad that they made it to Gloucester. As a Gold Star Mother I was in amazed. Did the USMC Drill team come for the event. Till you have seen them you would not believe what they can do. OOOh RAh! Semper Fi!
My son was killed in Iraq, Aug. 1, 2005. He was a Scout Sniper and a proud one!

Very touching – thank you so much for sharing! My generation just missed Vietnam by only a few years. I remember how terrified I was when I went with my boyfriend to City Hall for him to register for the draft. My heart goes out to anyone who lost a loved one in Vietnam. Just reading Gov. Baker’s talk in the GDT’s made it all sink in; very emotional. So happy that these brave men are finally getting the recognition they so deserve. God Bless the USA!

“Excellent posts above and everyone hit spot on thanks for sharing!” 🙂 Dave & Kim 🙂 Yes draft sign-up I did – would have went if called ended up coming on in 1978. the treatment was less than ideal upon return for many – I listened and learned so much as a teen from them every picture tells a story!
God Bless you all!
