If I was Mayor..
Get rid of the $20 fee for resident yearly beach fees.
Get rid of Purple Bags or make them strong enough so they don’t leave trash all over the roads.
Just my humble F’n opinion.

Some say that $20 isn’t much too pay. It’s not. But for residents who pay outrageous amounts of property Tax it’s an insult.
Next year you can KISS MY ASS! I won’t pay any fees for “legally” “illegally” Parking My Car anywhere in my Town of Gloucester. The next real Mayor should take this up!

I completely agree!!! Beach parking at Gloucester beaches should be free for Gloucester residents. It should be a resident “perk” let the others pay out not us.

No beach fee for residents of Gloucester…In return residents can take pride in helping to pickup at the beach as in picking up trash..Cc

If I were mayor, I’d mix sand with the road salt so it wouldn’t clump and rot my vehicle as quickly. It’d probably save the city enough money that it could make beach parking free.

As far as beach stickers go, IF, we have to pay, how about a two year sticker for let’s say, 30.00. I think we’d feel better feeling like we got something for nothing!!!
Senior citizens SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY !!!

I do think residents should be lower or not all I like “Charlene Carrier” idea Ownership is a must part of the solution not the problem” In the 60’s we used to do that anyway because once you cut your foot on a Broken Bottle of glass someone was careless with, we used to pull old fishing line too with hooks I had a bad encounter on my foot at 10 years old those hooks rusty and the hard to get out of skin. A visit to Doctor Pett for a Tetanus shot too! George Morey and Duke T and others had big trash barrels by their shacks and told us kids where to throw stuff…:-) Dave
