Good Morning Gloucester 
As a former New Yorker, I was amused by Bay Staters who called Upstate NY – Upper State NY. I was also amused when NYS friends tried to pronounce “Pee-body, Wor-ches-ter, and of course Glou-ces-ter.” I love the different names and pronunciation in different parts of the country. Of course, native Americans, whose tribal names were used for many of these city names, would roll with laughter over our pronunciations too. I grew up in Massapequa, home of the Massapequa Indians.
