You cannot take a bad photo of a Cape Ann Quarry in the fall. Follow Skip Montello on Facebook or his website and he kicks it up a notch. He posted one last week from this same spot and he made the quarry not of this world kind of hyper reality that made you as a kid have to throw a rock in the middle to break the spell.
