Last night Awesome Gloucester gave Nancy Goodman $1000 for her pilot youth employment program at Gloucester High.
See attached press release & images. This idea is awesome because it will give kids real world experience while giving local businesses a chance to conduct on site extended “interviews” risk free. And – the kids are paid in Gloucester gift certificates – so the $$ go back into our local economy!

The Awesome Gloucester trustees all expressed how proud and grateful they are be able to support the local community in this way. They also highlighted the need for continued community involvement saying, “Pitch us your ideas, we can’t give money away without them!”
