I first met Jackie as part of our founding group of Block Party organizers. I can tell you this- there was never a doubt that we couldn’t have done what we got done without Jackie clearing the way to make them such a hit.
Never a doubt that Jackie always put the city and her constituents best interests first. She was a councilor who did what was right for the city and put the decision making based on what was right and not on politics.
A great Gloucesterite and one of the best City Councilors ever. Thanks for all you’ve done to make this a better place Jackie.
God bless you and our thoughts are with your family.

Sorry to have heard this news today..

Jackie would come by The DressCode at least once a month and we would talk about, well just everything and anything. She was a very spiritual person and felt sad that people could be so mean spirited in politics and in life in general. We both understood how short our time is since we just never know when. She understood the beauty of inclusiveness verses exclusiveness. She also supported our business with kind words and bought things from many people throughout the community, thereby supporting them with out a name, a title, a gender, race, religion. With just a thank you and be happy. I don’t often see or hear from the many government people in town, but Jackie……..Yeah…that was real nice. Just like it oughta be. Gate Gate.. Jackie she knew what that meant. Love Barbara Koen
