Hi Joey,
Friday afternoon, once the storm ended, I decided to head north and check out Plum Island. Here are a few of my favorite shots.
A tractor that looks like it’ll be stuck for a while. A dog retrieving a ball in the snow covered dunes. The Plum Island Light. The surf was definitely still up. The houses and fields were covered with 2 feet of snow and ice. A snowy owl was perched on the roof of a deserted home. And in Rowley along the river, I encountered a very interesting midair snow drift that almost resembled a ghost floating along in front of me. The temperature was balmy 14, and it was gorgeous!

Thanks Mary, what a nice set of excellent creative photos.

Really Beautiful shots Mary. Took me right back to my days living in Newbury and one winter on Plum Island when I lived just down the street from that little lighthouse. Perfect day and time you picked – just magical.

Fantastic shots! There is so much around to photograph, yet it’s not so easy to get the real “good shots.” You did it, however!

Beautiful – I bet the tractor ran out of petro or broke a parking area? The red house with icles reminded me of the porches and when it got warm the icles or snow would slide off hopefully you were not under them when it happened Thanks! 🙂
