Any Knitters Out There Want To Knit Me A Sweater In Trade For One Of The New Heavy Weight Super Soft Fleece Double Lined Hood GMG Hoodies?

I’d like a lg mens merino wool sweater in the style above minus the Charlie Brown pattern color heather grey or charcoal.  Any knitters up for it?  Your picture on the blog and the yarn shop that wants to donate the yarn will get my time posting about the process.

Here’s where I saw the pattern but you might have a classic crew neck sweater pattern we could look at too.

  1. How soon would you like it… Hand knitting takes a little while – I’m up for the challenge!

        1. Tidbit I did not know – but now I know what caused the knitted sweater I had to lose the shape.

Although it may be tempting, do not hang sweaters or other knit items that can become misshapen by long term hanging. Many a good sweater has been stretched beyond repair. Instead carefully fold the items and place into the storage container. Stack your folded items from the lightest items on top to the heaviest items on bottom. Stacking items loosely will allow air to keep circulating, even during a long storage.

I pulled this from a blog about sweaters (sfavereau) – I knitted a “fisherman sweater” (my second sweater ever) for my dh in about a month, but that was because I had quit my job and was able to listen to audio books and knit all day if I wanted to.

  2. This a great to have but as Cindy above said take time – Grandmother was always knitting and had the balls of string in basket. Break the chill of the Alantic for sure:-)
