As long as supplies last if any GMG folks want a bumper sticker but can't drop down the dock, just send a self addressed and stamped envelope longer then 7 and a half inches and I'll drop one in the mail for you.
Send the self addressed and stamped envelope to the dock at 95 East Main St Gloucester Ma 01930 care of Joey (put my name in big letters to make sure it gets to me)

That is Davis Neck in Bayview. Part of the Ames Estate. Private property.
General Bece Butler of Civil War fame owned it.
There is an old lifeguard station out there. Turned into a summer cottage.
Butler also owned a granite quarry operation and built a causeway out to an island,
(outside the right frame of the picture)
Diamond Cove is on the other side of Davis Neck.

I just was at the MONTSERRAT COLLEGE OF ART’S AUCTION PARTY last night. (Kathy was at the Mardi Gras Concert) This image makes me think as much as any piece at the Auction. Imagine being an explorer and coming upon such a location 400+ years ago, setting the long boat on the beach, stepping out to claim it for the Crown….
