After the Veteran’s Day Ceremony, I thought, “Well what do they need and how can I help?” It took me awhile but I called Lucia Amero at the Veterans Center and she told me that our troops are cold and they need our help. (Click the photo to watch the video) Here is what you can do:
- Click here for a list of what they need
- Knitters click here to see how you can help
- Drop off a donation at The Veterans Center (12 Emerson Ave, Gloucester)
- Take a donation to Sunbanque (156 Prospect St, Gloucester) and get a FREE TAN
It is so disturbing to think of our politicians spending so much money on their campaigns, but our soldiers need socks.. really makes you think what is going wrong in this courntry.. thank you for the post, will send this along.. maybe tomorrow during our Thanksgiving dinner we can take a moment and remember our women and men in arms way…

I really want to meet Lucia Amero. I think I will just mail them a check. I don’t know when I will be in Gloucester again and I know they can use this now. We will meet another time.
I am a Gold Star Mother. My son was killed in 2005, Aug 1. in Iraqi.
I was shocked to hear what the men and women did Not have. Pillows! My First Sgt told us.
I started the SGT David Coullard Memorial Fund. We support several groups that mail to our service people.
