Through the American Council on Exercise we have pledged hours to help veterans and their families get fit. Few words can accurately describe the sacrifices our service members and their families make every day. The stress of war and long periods of separation from family and friends tremendously impact their lives in ways most of us cannot comprehend. We would like to give back to our nation’s men and women in uniform and their families by offering compimentary small group training or group fitness sessions

That diagnosis, surgery, and subsequent recovery inspired her to pursue her dream as a fitness coach both through personal training and teaching group fitness classes. During this time, she realized the importance of living a balanced life, both physically and mentally. Jean and Carol have been trained by the MS Society to work with individuals living with this illness. Exercise is a key component of your overall healthcare strategy, but that doesn’t mean you need to be a super athlete to enjoy the benefits. Studies show that moderate aerobic exercise improves cardiac health, stamina, and mood, and helps manage symptoms like fatigue, weakness, and bladder and bowel difficulties. Stretching exercises—whether done on your own or with a helper—can relieve stiffness and improve your flexibility and mobility.
