Joey,
Any idea if the ferry has been busy in its infancy? Hopefully it does well, I am trying to figure out when the wife, baby and I can get on for a day trip! $80 to Ptown and back seems like a steal in this time of $4+ gasoline…

Initial reports of passenger counts don’t seem well with but the thing is in it’s infancy.
Hopefully it catches on because I don’t think it would last long steaming across to P Town and burning all that fuel with only a hand full of passengers.
If it fails it won’t bode well because the state hangs it’s hat on Ferry service being a marine industrial use allowed within a Designated Port. If we can’t support it, then there is one more use that they keep telling us is allowed but not financially viable.
I’m rooting for it to succeed.

Seems like it would a nice ride back and forth, but the price seems high to visit another seaport.
Maybe a gloucester to boston ferry would do better.
take care, Paul
