The new growth is soft and jelly-like. It almost glows deep orange in color.

Check out this Lobster Weathervane. The guy a couple doors down from Dominos Pizza now sells a wide variety of weathervanes. The same guy that sharpens knives and fixes lawn mowers.
Obviously this one appealed to me. I don’t have a cupola to attatch it to but I’m seriously considering putting one up.

I sent off the pictures of the lobster that had molted in out tanks to the Maine Lobster Institute and they are using them and the video in their educational material.
