If any of the young skaters who grace the ice at The Dorothy M. Talbot Rink have any Olympic ambitions, it is pretty cool to have Ben (Punky) Smith watching from the stands!
Thatcher and Finn, knowing he is my husband’s Godfather, have read the plaques that pay tribute to his pretty fantastic Olympic Coaching career many times and were pretty smitten to see him at last week’s Gloucester High School game.
Thatcher was beyond happy to hear him say, “Your son looked pretty good out there” after his team skated at intermission.
Benjamin A. Smith, III was able to lead the United States Women’s Hockey team to a Gold Medal in 1998, a Medal in 2002, and a Bronze Medal in 2006. His 1998 Olympic Team went on to be inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame.

Just noticed when I was looking over this post that on the label it tells you when the coffee beans were roasted.
Are you shitting me?
I love the fact that I know that my coffee was just roasted a couple of days ago- frickin cool AF

Last winter I shared what my plan for my mom’s electricity supplier was. At the time the best option IMO was Think Energy. If you signed up and locked in congratulations, you saved a bunch of money over National Grid’s variable pricing plan which generally spikes way up in the winter due to there not being enough power plants in the northeast to create power and National Grid having to go out and bid in the open market for electricity.
Anyway, I signed my mom up for a six month plan and it was up about a month ago.
This is just a reminder for anyone else who did what we did to contact Think Energy and either resign with them or lock in with another supplier so you aren’t at the mercy of National Grid.
It takes all of a few minutes to do
Here’s the number for Think Energy- 1-866-252-0078
Here’s Direct Energy- 888-305-3828
Call both, get the best rate and if you want, lock in for 6-12 months.
I have no idea about where electricity prices will go but I know if you’re at the mercy of a variable pricing plan you could be paying way more in the winter months.
I’m locking in like we did last year.
JUST BE AWARE THAT IF YOU DO NOTHING AND YOUR TERM EXPIRES FROM LAST YEAR WHEN YOU LOCKED IN, THEN YOU”RE PROBABLY BACK AT THE MERCY OF NATIONAL GRID.
SO CALL AND EXPLORE YOUR OPTIONS!
Just lookin out for my peeps. I have no vested interest other than to make sure you are aware.
Well if this isn’t the coolest damn#Christmas #lobster decoration ever I don’t know what is. My buddy Bex added the lights. Someone from #RockportMA made the lobster trap wire lobster. I’ll find out who and credit the creator once I talk to Bex.
This morning a wonderfully kind woman helped me after I took a tumble on the rocks at Brace Cove. I would love to thank her but only know her first name, Carol. She is tall and slender and has a friendly and sweet large black dog named Rider. If you know her name and have her contact information, please email me at kimsmithdesigns@hotmail.com. Thank you so much for your help!

When I get a cold I will do ANYTHING to get better FAST! I literally have had 5 colds in the past 20 years. I have an immune system of steel!
So I heard the old wives’ tale of putting a peeled onion in a bowl in your room and it absorbs bacteria.
Have you heard this?
