What a treat to return to Yella on the Water along the boulevard! Welcome back to the excellent staff and fine menu! Jim tried one of the specials Ouzi and I had the fried haddock tacos. Outstanding on both counts. I especially enjoyed the fish batter with a bit of a zing. To round out the relaxing experience, we ordered strawberry shortcakeโฆ.easily enough for 2 as you will note. The sangria was extra yummy. Shoutout out to Anna who was our server. The place was hopping even early in the season before deck dining is really comfortable so plan accordingly. Welcome back Yella!

Tall tales about ghosts, ghouls, and things that go bump in the night have long been woven into the fabric of local lore, and โWidowโs Bayโ is tapping into that history to tell a distinctly New England story.
Premiering Wednesday on Apple TV, the new comedy horror series stars Emmy winner Matthew Rhys (โThe Americansโ), also an executive producer on the show, as Tom Loftis, a Bay State native and mayor of the sleepy, fictional island of Widowโs Bay. Despite its idyllic appearance, the town is harboring a laundry list of supernatural secrets. Loftis wants to turn this Wi-Fi-less relic of the past into a modern vacation getaway like Bar Harbor or Marthaโs Vineyard, but his constituents, who are mainly lifelong locals, arenโt exactly on board with the plan, especially since the mayor (at least initially) doesnโt buy into their otherworldly superstitions.
