Joey:

A few Sandy Storm photos from our house on the outer shore near Eastern Point light.  The midnight shot was high tide – too bad we couldn’t really see it.

Incredible Black and White Saint Peter’s Fiesta Altars 1939 and ??? From Hilary McKinnon

Hilary writes-

These were probably taken by my mother’s side of the family Vigrinia Frontiero (nee Piscatello) daughter of Michael and Mary Frontiero the larger one may be by her as she always had a camera glued to her hand and the one from ’39 I couldn’t say I don’t think she’s quite that old and won’t tell me anyways. She lived on Gould court most all of her life until she got married in ’53 and I came along in ’54. My bedroom widow faced the church, that we were forbidden to enter but I saw it about 3 years ago during a my granddaughter’s christening. On your video of the Sargent house you can see it off to the left on the opening shot, although you mentioned it being a stones throw away. Great video, another place they never let me in, steps like that can be seen at the library too I think.

Flutter From Bill O’Connor

Hi Joey,

On a recent trip to Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary in Topsfield, I was followed by a couple of chickadees that would fly very close to me as I walked along the trail.  On a whim, I stopped and stretched out my arm with the finger extended and they would actually land on my finger and quickly fly away!  I tried to get numerous shots but found it hard to manage the camera while the bird was standing on my finger. I snapped this at the moment that one fluttered away.

Enjoy!

Bright and Yellow-

Hi Joey,
The leaves were so "Bright and Yellow" here at our Ski House in Intervale, NH this Saturday morning (Oct. 20, 2012) that it looked like the sun was shining bright. It wasn’t until later in the afternoon. And yes…we do "represent" here at the bar in Intervale.

It made a big hit on Flickr.
