My View of Life on the Dock

Magnolia Pier is closed to the public, until further notice. Probably too dangerous with the wave and shaking, especially on the float and going up and down the ramp. The float did not make it, it did not look good earlier,

Considering that Hurricane Teddy was over 350 miles away, the waves were very impressive.
Glad the Magnolia Pier is 2 feet higher.

Spindrifts near Kettle Island

On Thursday the waves were awesome and then flat. A surfer trying to find the perfect wave.

On Wednesday around 4:45 took this photo at Magnolia Pier. You can see the smoky sky from the fires out west.

After work went to the beach on Monday afternoon. The waves were so pretty and the ocean was singing.

The waves hitting the rocks on Magnolia Beach were very impressive, noticed the rock looks like a whale.

Another glorious day on Sunday. Rick and I went kayaking in Gloucester Harbor. We love having lunch on Ten Pound Island. So blessed to live here.

The blue sky with amazing clouds and the flags blowing on the Magnolia Pier were beautiful.

So peaceful on a late summer morning.

Love my morning walks on Shore Road

About 6:00 PM the clouds came and and went right back out, with very little rain. This summer has been a great beach summer but we do need the rain.

At Magnolia Beach this monstrous cloud came to visit. I have never seen anything like this before. Also we have no power. Be safe out there.
