Hopefully we’ll see you in the Morning.

“A huge, dead satellite tumbling to Earth is falling slower than expected, and may now plummet down somewhere over the United States tonight or early Saturday, despite forecasts that it would miss North America entirely, NASA officials now say.
The 6 1/2-ton Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite (UARS) was expected to fall to Earth sometime Friday afternoon, but changes in the school bus-size satellite’s motion may push it to early Saturday, according to NASA’s latest observations of the spacecraft.”

Where else can you get a taste of an award winning Lobster Roll and Tour the Newest Member of the Gloucester Schooner Fleet The Ardelle!?
Only at the Kahn Studio\GMG Gallery on Rocky Neck!
Here’s EJ’S Post:
The Pinky Schooner Ardelle (along with Harold Burnham, Laurie Fullerton and Daisy) will be joining us this Sunday at Mug Up for the First Annual Lobster Roll Competition. She will tie up at Madfish Wharf from 10:00-11:00. If you haven’t had the chance to see Ardelle up close and personal, this is your chance to see her and meet Harold Burnham of H.A. Burnham Boat Builders, the 28th Burnham to operate a shipyard in Essex since 1819.
Of course, it is also Mug Up and our First Annual Lobster Roll Competition too, so plan to come, bring on your award winning lobster roll entry (optional) and have fun at Khan Studio and the Good Morning Gloucester Gallery, 77 Rocky Neck on Madfish Wharf from 10:00 until we’re done. Everyone is welcome.
Lobster roll judging will begin promptly at 10:20, so if you are an entrant, please be here by 10:00 to give yourself time to grill your buns (if you do that) and do your final preparation for the judging. I have tons of butter, so don’t bring that unless you use a special kind (I have the Cabots salted variety). Note: There has been a change in judges. International Food Judge, Brenda Hill, has had a scheduling conflict, so will be replaced by Eastern Point Lightkeeper, Dani Lubber. The other two judges will be Sister Felicia and Wendie Demuth.
Mug Up at Khan Studio and the Good Morning Gloucester Gallery is open to anyone who wants to join us. Mug Up type food contributions (whatever you feel like bringing and sharing) are always welcome. We provide the coffee, deviled eggs and good time.

Tina Greel Represents Before the Paint Mfg Demolition
Hey Wait! I gave her a Sticka but where’d she get my Official GMG Press Pass?
IF YOU SEE TINA PLEASE TELL HER I’D LIKE IT BACK!
How am I supposed to get into any big local events (for free) without it?
Please Tina give it back. It won’t do you any good. You don’t look anything at all like the photo on it. You have too much hair.

What is your medium? I am a photographer, painter (primarily oils, acrylics and mixed media) and writer (including being a regular contributor to Good Morning Gloucester)
How long have you been an artist? I guess all my life, but began actively pursuing my life as an artist in 1990 after leaving the corporate world.
Where do you get your inspiration? Now that I am living on Cape Ann, my inspiration is everywhere I look, everyone I meet, and everything I learn about this amazing place. It’s a little overwhelming. I’m a type A corporate risk manager turned artist. I’ve traveled alot, lived many places, operated a number of galleries and non-profit cultural centers, and have also worked as a marketing services provider to artists for many years providing art printing, matting and framing, artwork photography, web design, and other services. Until I close the gallery on October 15, at Khan Studio and the Good Morning Gloucester Gallery, 77 Rocky Neck Ave., G3 on Madfish Wharf. Always on my website at www.khanstudiointernational.com, on October 8th and 9th at the Annisquam Arts & Crafts Show at Village Hall in Annisquam. |

I met Rick a Big fan of GMG At The State Fish Pier. He enjoys checking it out everyday to see what’s going on here on our Island Paradise. He thought the Sunday Mug Ups were by invitation only. I told him and any Fan like him can come down Sunday Mornings at 10am and get some Coffee and some great food. No obligation to buy anything at all. Rick seems like a great guy and I look forward to talking to him again.
Here’s a photo of Rick Representin’ and The Eurodam video I took today. Rick also is my color commentary on the last part of this video when you see the shuttle boat arriving at the CruisePort.
