As the catamaran style center consoles have gained huge popularity over the last couple of years due to their exceptional ride quality and ultra stable fishing platforms, it was just a matter of time before the bay boat market decided to follow suit. Cayo Boatworks came through with the introduction of their 26 foot cat, the Cayo 264, which caught the eye of us all, and once again spun the boatbuilding world on it’s head. In our opinion, the 26’ size range is an extremely appealing boat for a massive market of folks who like to do a little bit of everything along the coast. Be it getting up rather shallow for an array of inshore species, or heading straight offshore on the “calmer” days of the year, the Cayo 264 gives you access to a wide world of fishing and boating opportunities, along with that cat ride quality we’ve all grown to love.
