Great pic-story but left out what is the most important thing — how many lobsters did Trapper catch??

The show case photo posted today on GMG of a lobster trap containing a deer head is the most horrific demonstration of animal cruelty ever. With all the crude bathroom/male anatomy talk on GMM, I guess we can expect that. There is never any pride in multilating an innocent animal, nor respect for the mutilator. I am disturbed beyond words!

If this person is hunting the deer for food, what’s the problem? Harvesting an animal from the wild is by far humane than sourcing your meat from the grocery store, where the animals suffered in the factory farms. As it is, the deer population is Massachusetts is exceeding what the habitat can support, which in turn has a negative impact on the ecosystem. Historically in Massachusetts, deer populations were controlled by three main predators: mountain lions, wolves, and humans. Now that mountain lions and wolves are absent in the Commonwealth, deer populations are able to grow in numbers in areas without regulated hunting.
