I was looking for something a little different to do recently and took the short ride to Beverly, intrigued by the description of the Long Hill estate gardens, which were supposed to be at peak in May and June. This site is a 114 acre estate managed by the Trustees of Reservations and is open to the public free of charge.
I think I missed peak by perhaps two weeks, but there was still plenty of beauty to behold. There are also walking trails available though I did not check those out this time. My focus was on gardens. Some scenes:

We were there for a wedding a “few” years ago and what a treat! It was in its glory! Thank you for the memories!

I went in early June, the azaleas and tree peonies were in bloom. Very beautiful place to visit. Not crowded at all, on a week day.
