Every time I catch this out of the corner of my eye when walking on Toronto Ave. in the early morning, I always think there is some large creature stalking through the woods, or an ogre carrying a stick and rushing somewhere. When the crows are really being vocal, I see a gigantic crow or raven. It gets my attention every time. What do you see?

The Black Crow of Chernobyl or Mothman indicates a disaster, so I’m glad it is just a tree root and not that.

look at the. Top ! I see a Lynx face, it’s a Lynx wearing a large black cape ……or it could be a big black plastic bag brought by the wind and stuck in the tree. I prefer the Lynx.
Anyway, an interesting, great photo !

Great to see other people’s imaginations at work. Actually, it is the root system of an uprooted tree. The tree is at the bottom right of the photo, extending from under his cape. I had to walk into the wood and up to it before I could see what it really was.

Legend of sleepy hollow? Took a strong wind to bring this to life – we used to have and oak strand out west that looked like lambs walking in a row when looked at from a certain angle…:-) Dave & Kim 🙂

It certainly did. I would love to see the row of lambs, that must be something.

Would love to share that but no picture of it just image in heart and mind…I check with folks maybe dad took a photo? He took all kinds of photo’s coming across country too in the bus 1968…He processed them all into slides for the old school drum projector and every now and then family would break them out with a sheet on wall lights turned off for a walk back 🙂 Dave & Kim 🙂
My brother went to this and was very young then too was always his doing his own thing…We Lost him in 2010 at (56 years old) this is in his memory the song below he is on the “album cover” in that big crowd of folks I have the CD at the house and had the movie too let it out and never got it back oh well! …Many were trying to find their way back in the 60’s – 70’s growing up through these years left an impact on us all 🙂
