When Sista Felicia told me she uses microwave bacon for stuff like a BLT or breakfast for the twins, not gonna lie I snubbed my nose. Really? Microwave bacon?? She swore to me that she wasn’t yankin’ my chain and I agreed to buy it and try it out!
Well now I’m obsessed. No fuss and muss with bacon just for a sandwich and Tyler can make it himself for breakfast!

For the record, it’s way easier but I prefer real bacon cooked in cast iron. I’d rate the microwave bacon a 7 compared to real bacon in a cast iron pan a 10.

My mother loves bacon, but I hate cooking it. This winter I discovered the microwave bacon, and it has allowed me to make BLT’s and bacon and eggs, something I hadn’t done in years.

You know what I do? I call Willow Rest and order a few side orders of bacon. I freeze it and voila! There when I need it, I didn’t have to cook it, no more expensive than buying precooked and farrr yummier! 😀

I haven’t tried the cooked bacon but regular bacon cooked in the microwave only takes a couple of minutes and comes out more evenly cooked than frying to me. I can undercook it a bit like I like it. Will have to check this already cooked stuff out!
