Sandy Bay Historical Society will hold a reception, discussion and signing by Paul St.Germain and his new book entitled Cape Ann Granite.

On Thursday night August 27 at 7:30, local author, Paul St.Germain will discuss and sign his new book at the Sandy Bay Historical Society Museum at 40 King Street in Rockport.

Telling a story in pictures is Cape Ann Granite, the newest addition to Arcadia Publishing’s popular Images of America series. The book was just released on July 20, 2015. It boasts over 200 vintage images, many of which have never been published, and showcases memories of the granite industry that prevailed on Cape Ann for over 100 years.

St.Germain will discuss his book and explain some of the photographs on display in the museums granite exhibit. He will also sign his book which will be available for sale. Admission is free.
